Colleen Truman

As Group Vice President of Emerald’s Sales Content Division, Colleen Truman leads sales for the company’s broad portfolio of industry publications and digital assets consisting of 17 unique brands. In this role, she is responsible for maximizing growth, profitability, and collaboration while implementing Emerald’s content sales strategy focused on delivering revenue growth for 365-day digital and print brands serving a variety of industries. Colleen first joined Emerald in 2020 as Vice President, Global Food Group where for four years she directed the world-renowned Pizza Expo and the accompanying industry publication Pizza Today. She came to Emerald from Gannet, USA Today where she served in a variety of leading roles, including Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Midwest Strategic Digital Director, and Senior Digital Strategist. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in molecular biology from Kansas State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Colleen resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband and daughter.
