Eric Reaves

Eric Reaves joined Emerald in March 2020 and currently serves as Vice President, People and Culture, where he leads a company team that strategically develops, collaborates and executes on strong talent management, organizational development and human resource initiatives in support of Emerald’s global business. 

Eric has over 25 years’ experience in human resources, including developing and implementing scalable, strategic and value-added solutions that deliver on human capital management across a broad array of industries. Prior to joining Emerald, he was Vice President, Human Resources for Westfield, a global retail commercial real estate leasing organization, where he led a team of HR professionals in orchestrating significant organizational change management, leadership and organizational development programs for 1,100 employees.  Eric has also served as Director, Human Resources for several large-scale civil engineering and architecture firms, including Jacobs Engineering, Gensler and HNTB. In these roles he directed human resource divisional teams and functional strategies focused on talent acquisition, succession management, and organizational design and development programs. 

In addition to a B.S. Degree in Psychology from West Liberty University, Eric holds an M.A. Degree in Industrial Psychology from Cleveland State University. He also successfully completed the prestigious Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He holds professional certification in the Society for Human Resource Management, is a member of the National Human Resource Association, and is a UCLA Human Resources Roundtable Association Member (HARRT), Anderson School of Management.  

Eric resides in Los Angeles, California.
