Surf Industry Veteran Joins Emerald’s Elastic Suite in Key Customer Success Role

NEW YORK, NY (March 23, 2021) — Emerald Holding, (“Emerald” or the “Company”) today announced that Sean Smith, Executive Director of the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA), is joining the company’s Elastic Suite Division as Director of Community Engagement. The addition of Smith reinforces the company’s strategy to further strengthen Elastic’s leadership position as the most preferred B2B platform among manufacturers and retailers.  Smith’s depth of experience and stellar reputation as an industry veteran serving numerous global brands makes him a natural fit with Emerald’s team focused on making Elastic the industry standard wholesale ecommerce technology.
