Christina Wilkes

Christina Wilkes was appointed to the Emerald leadership team in November 2024 as Senior Vice President of Emerald Operations. In this key role, she directs company operations related to the overall show experience across Emerald’s core markets that includes all aspects of customer engagement with show exhibitors, attendees, sponsors, and vendors.

With more than 20 years of event industry experience, Christina has a strong record of driving business transformation and enhancing operational performance. Since first joining Emerald in August 2022 as Vice President of Research and Discovery for the Xcelerator division, she has been instrumental in spearheading early-stage research and discovery initiatives for new launch concepts.

Before joining Emerald, Christina held leadership positions at American Express, overseeing the Meetings and Events business in Latin America and creating a global preferred supplier program. She was also previously with Prudential Financial where she gained a robust foundation in P&L management, project management, strategic planning, and change management.

Christina holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell University. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the beautiful beaches and trails of Rhode Island with her dog, Fern.
