Cecilia Wang

Cecilia Wang serves as the Deputy General Counsel where she leads the commercial, product, compliance, and litigation functions of the legal department. Cecilia joined Emerald in 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience as an attorney specializing in the technology and advertising space.

Prior to joining Emerald, Cecilia was Lead Counsel at Meta Platforms, Inc. where she provided strategic legal counsel to the sales, marketing, product, engineering, and operations teams in connection with Meta’s business tools and partnership products. She also served as Corporate Counsel for Renesas Electronics America Inc. supporting clients in the semiconductor industry, worked at various Vault50 law firms with a focus on competition and privacy, and served as a federal judicial law clerk for the United States District Court, Middle District of Tennessee.

Cecilia holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a JD degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
