Sara Altschul

Sara Altschul joined Emerald in May 2024 and serves as the company’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary. In this role she leads all aspects of Emerald’s legal and corporate affairs, including securities and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial transactions, and litigation.

With more than 20 years of experience, Sara has previously served as General Counsel of several multinational companies. Prior to joining Emerald, she was EVP, General Counsel & Partner for Known, an industry leading advertising, marketing and brand strategy company. Sara also previously served as General Counsel for Internova Travel Group and PR Newswire. She began her legal career as an Associate with McDermott, Will & Emery.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College and a JD from Tulane Law School. Sara resides in New York City with her husband and two children.
